Kestrel nest boxes: Screech Owl

ABOVE: This Screech Owl was hit by a car and apparently stunned. It was placed in a basket and brought indoors as veterinary care was being arranged. Soon after, it escaped and flew to a window, and then released. This Owl was possibly a baby. Screech Owls which are small are only 5-8" tall.
