13th Kestrel Falcon nest box on pole in fields

ABOVE, RIGHT: 5 eggs in May. ABOVE, LEFT: 13th Kestrel Falcon nest box. 2nd of 2 mounted on about 1992 by a late Kestrel enthusiast. Located in an agricultural field in the Dickerson area of Montgomery County, MD. I assumed maintenance/monitoring of it on 5/18/02 after speaking with the property caretaker.

5/18 Five eggs
6/18 Five probably fledged
5/1/2003 Kestrel pair near box on various days.
3/1/2004 Roof rotted and blew off of box. It is now unusable.
