Overall notes: Lots of human activity. A deck will be built next to it on April 1 and a home is being built next to it right now. 4/30: 3 pink babies, not sure what else may have been in there w/o too much disturbance.

Overall notes: Lots of human activity. A deck will be built next to it on May 1 and a home is being built next to it right now. This box was mounted some days before box #7. Bluebirds started a nest in it and then left it to build a nest in box #7.

2002

Overall notes: Lots of human activity. Nest from brood of 5 in May as well as brood of 3 in July was removed. This is the 1st time I've seen a 3rd nesting attempt in any Bluebird nest box. On 7/27 a post with 2 BB boxes on it was rected near the railroad tracks. They are back-to-back on common property. This was done so the BBs would always have a future home. My parents moved from this current property that boxes 7 and 8 were on. On 4/6/2003, BB nests were built BOTH of the boxes at the new location of the original single home pair.

Overall notes: A 2nd nesting. Lots of human activity. Nest from previous brood of 5 in May was removed. Only 4 eggs were laid for the 2nd clutch and 1 of them didn't hatch. It was unformed.
